I found this very strange that The Sun can't seem to distinguish a Morgan dollar
from a Barber half dollar
; sure, they carry the same set of three mintmarks but I thought they would be smart enough to see these are two different coins. The article states this coin sold for $1,501.00, and goes on to explain (albeit correctly) that the Barber coinage
started in 1892. They did a little better on wondering if one of us readers have one of these coins in our collection instead of saying "do you have one of these in your spare change?" implying we folk carry around antique coins...
