Here are some pics after conservation. The toning is gone, but the coin does look crisper. The small spots are no longer active. This is off to PCGS now and with current turnaround times, we might be in limbo for a month or so. These pics are credited to Rick Snow.

Who did the conservation? John1
( I'm no pro, it's just my humble opinion ) Searched 6.5 +/- Million Cents Since 1971

Rick Snow did the conservation. I actually trust his work more than the folks at any of the grading companies. He knows small cents and copper in general.

A little update.....I noticed that the PCGS Population increased today from 4 to 5 in PF65. Rick could not verify that it was my coin that was the cause of the increase, he said as of yesterday it was showing in the "grading" phase. I suppose it could be another coin, but there are not many out there and it would be quite a rare occurrence for them to be grading two of these at once! No new pictures on the Coinfacts page yet, but there should be one soon if they just graded a PF65.

Not sure how a professional dealer could miss something like that.
