Yeah sorry about that, after I posted I looked around a little further and found the bank note section.

Well whoever posted on ebay must of got it wrong, was wondering why it wasn't in the book. Also I see that they have 1982 $1 note, with johnston/stone, is this also a mistake, ?

While I'm here I may as well to continue to ask a couple of questions.

What is a OCR-B thread, and a gothic thread.

Also so the book is right, that's all the $1 and $2 notes which where made. none through other years etc ?

G'daye dags, if you look in gregs book it explains the difference between the two styles of serial number lettering as follows:

"To distinct serial number fonts were used in the printing process during the production of the now obsolete paper notes. The type of font can have a dramatic effect on the value of the note. The original GOTHIC style was used and later OCR-B style was introduced
for the $2, $5, $10, $20 and $50 issues"
