1989 D Lincoln Cent. OK This Can't Be MD

Irelandos New Member Canada 28 Posts	Posted 12/08/2022 2:11 pm Greetings, stumbled upon this 89 D cent when something caught by bare eye about it. Upon further inspection, this looks to me to be a double die. It has notches and the devices are enlarged, as well as the inner features effected (the B in liberty for example) Can anyone else confirm by the looks of things? Also the D mint mark looks like a strong double as well? Report this Post to the Staff

I know the pictures aren't the best quality, but Is there not quite noticeable notching and doubling in letters of liberty? As well as moto letters albeit less pronounced, and the date as well. I didn't see anything that matched it on Variety Vista or CopperCoins.com. If it is an RPM it looks like a pretty nice one and something worth getting attributed. Report this Post to the Staff

It may be worth submitting to the attribution sites (even if there is split plating present) so do not "spend it while you can" as others suggest.
