Im considering bidding on this piece. Weight is 3.54 grams, diameter is 18.5mm. Anybody question the authenticity?

Yeah, similar patina and surfaces. Very curious for sure.

Oh and this is funny. Each flan these were struck on are exactly 3.5 - 3.65 grams. He should have just put up one at a time if he wanted to sell these. This is just silly now.

IMHO it's a fake - patina and edges are not right.

It has a lot of dirt on it, which might hide any production method. It's rather round and well-centred, if you compare it to others, but has pretty much the average weight and diameter (not that that matters, given the range of weights and sizes): http://numismatics.org/ocre/id/ric.1(2).aug.37B

Says Austria but about the seller says 2022 registered in Bulgaria. Doing really well surprisingly with these. Private listings in feedback mostly so you can't see what others looked like he past sold.

Oh, I just noticed that although the item says it is from 'Linz, Austria', the seller is from Bulgaria. The alarm bells are very loud, now.
Edit: snap!

@xxm, consider looking for your ancient coins on vcoins rather than eBay. For sure no marketplace is 100% safe, but I believe you will find fewer of these shenanigans.

Hi Spence, I typically do. I usually buy from Vcoins, CNG, Baldwins, and dealers at the NYINC, but I was just browsing eBay out of curiosity. This is a type I'm interested and can't find many others currently available. That's probably a good thing since I went a little overboard in New York City a couple of weeks ago. I'm still licking my wounds a bit!

I wouldn't rule out eBay, I've bought many coins from that outlet. There are a lot of reputable dealers. There is a link top left of this forum with CCF recommend sellers. Shout out to: cody111111
