Looks like a scratch but a nice, clear, closeup would confirm.

if that's entirely raised about the surface, it's due to a die crack

is that incuse or raised? can we get a close up of this.
I notice that it follows the contour of the raised devices.
Too straight to be a crack, but a scratch or quite possibly a strike through.

But we need a close up of it to tell for sure - need to know if metal has piled up alongside this thing.

It is a scratch. You can see how it is incuse.
To be a crack it would have to be raised.
