PCGS - The 1873 Open 3, No Arrows Half Dollar replaced the Closed 3 version issued earlier in the year as its 3 looked like an 8. Depending on the grade, an Open 3 can be worth anywhere from 40 to almost 70 times as much as a Closed 3. PCGS estimates that there are just 150 total survivors, and this PCGS XF40 is one of them, holding a PCGS Price Guide value of $7,750.
