Hello- Here's my Saturday pick up. Before silver spiked, I was thinking of trying for another set, but that's on hold. I did find this one, though. It fits nicely with my others. To me, these halves carry so much history, especially when you can tell they've been around. Love those late 19th century dates. I'd like to hear your thoughts on grade. Thanks
This one looks like VG-08, and on the high end for that grade. The leaves and shield are too weak for VG-10. Nice circulation cameo, too. There may be an older cleaning, but it looks market acceptable. I don't see any contact marks that would detail it. Those depression-era coins are on the tough side to find in decent shape.
