Has anyone seen any of the standard 2026 coins (beaver, bluenose, caribou, loon, polar bear) in circulation yet? I know they have released circulation strikes in mint products but I haven't seen any come through banks or retail transactions.
Seems odd that we are half way through the year and we have only seen commemoratives in circulation. Is demand really that low? Will it be a low mintage year?

The lack of 2026 coins in change is universal.

I'm in QC, and rarely see any of the new circulation commemorative here, They seem to pop up months after their initial release, probably from change from other provinces. I'm still hoping for a "First Strike" release, even at this late date - could it be that the demand for new coinage is slowly diminishing

The Mint boutiques in Winnipeg and Ottawa have had the boxed First Strike Roll sets sitting there for over a month waiting for the release date, which I've been told is mid-July.

Got a 2026 dime in change from Timmy's on July 1st in Winnipeg. First 2026 I've seen in circulation.
Coincidentally the Mint is just South of that Tim's
