This is an old antique show find from a long time ago. I found it raw and it still is.

Please let me have you thoughts on this.

Thanks,

i have it at XF45. an old dip but not harshly cleaned by any means. I believe it would still details for it. I dont mind the gung too much but if it was mine I would acetone it and see if it would clean that up which would bump the eye appeal

Thank you, @panzaldi. I appreciate your feedback.
I know acetone and Classic Coin Conditioner are not comparable - acetone is probably the better solvent - however, which would you prefer in this case?

Thanks!

Classic Coin Conditioner

I'm sorry GERMANICVS, I'm not familiar with this product so I can only mention the acetone. if you go with the acetone, I would be inclined to place it on a window sill for a couple months to enhance the eye appeal. I would do the same with your other one. this one looks like it has started to retone after a dip which probably was quite a while ago.

Agree with XF detail, with an old cleaning and possible ED around date and mintmark. Somewhat negative eye appeal and would almost certainly not grade problem-free. Acetone treatment can't hurt. Slow retoning on a windowsill or in a paper envelope might gradually improve the look.
