Hello, I don't know too much about coins but have gained a recent interest in collecting. A vintage store near me sells foreign coins for 25 cents each, and I use an app on my phone to scan the price. My hope is that I will be able to flip them on ebay for a profit.

Some of my favorite coins I have right now are the Spain 25 pesetas "Inside the Star" Proof and Brooklyn Tunnel and Transit Authority Tokens.

I also own a 1976 2nd place medal from the U.S. Federation of International Moving Target Shooters and an odd 1960's advertising token for the Anaconda American Brass Co. I will likely ask more about these "coins" soon in another category with pictures.

Thank you!

BullTerrierChild, welcome to the Forumn, and you never know, you may discover the fascination of coin and token collecting.
As for flipping coins on ebay, as you probably already know ebay charges fees (around 13% for most sellers) and can be a tricky environment to sell (authentication issues, etc.). Also, the value of a coin or token is based on numerous factors including condition, "rarity," demand and collecting interest. I maybe stating things you already know, but thought it worth a reminder.

Good luck with collecting and selling.
