Someone tried to pass this off as a toonie ($2 Cdn coin) but my wife caught it. They left it as a tip instead. I'd appreciate any help identifying it. I realize it is a really modern coin of little to no value here in Canada, but I like to keep the oddities I come across.

It's from Taiwan, 50 dollars. 50 Taiwan dollars equals about CAN$1.65 face value at the moment.
