Please help me I.D. this older,(what seems to be), copper coin. It is sitting atop a modern Penny for size, I do not have a scale so I do not know the weight. It is thinner than a penny, but not so thin that you could bend it with your fingers/hand. Thank you, Paul.

Thank you DCH! Wish I had a nickle for every coin dealer I had showed that coin to and just got a dumb look back.

Any guess on what the other coin I posted might be? The one with what I call a "Devil Dog" on it.
