Some star notes are quite common and only worth face value in circ condition while others are quite rare. Report this Post to the Staff

However certain factors change that. Fancy serials, errors, low serials, or low run notes do carry a premium. That site John1 referenced is a good place to see what run/quantity your notes came from. Don't forget that condition is everything when it comes to notes. I pass on many a star even if the run is very low unless it is in great shape. I would have to believe in all the notes you have there are some that are worth a moderate premium. My suggestion is to sit down and sort through those notes and separate the more valuable ones out. zeewool Pillar of the Community 3660 Posts	Posted 02/11/2011 09:43 am That depends mainly on what series, denomination, and signature combination (more so than condition).... There are some star notes in only VG condition that you could not buy with a thousand star notes in UNC condition of a different signature combination. Report this Post to the Staff
