I love the clean fields and lack of bag-marks on this Morgan but the strike on the obverse (hair above the ear) and the lack of detail eagle's breast feathers on the reverse is weakish, IMO. tatt2ed13 Pillar of the Community United States 557 Posts	Posted 05/03/2012 5:09 pm Thats a nice one thats for sure .. Seems to have a bit of a "far Date" if I'm looking at it correctly .. My guess is also the MS-63 .. Price wise going by Numismedia.com looks to be about .78$ .. Ms 64 price is around 95$ -- The money seems to be in the MS-65 range at 300$ flat .. Id recommend since the photos are a bit tough to fully tell try matching your coin up on PCGScoinfacts .. they have a photograde application that you can simply match it up ... But with the provided photo I like the ms-63 .. Good luck , And I think its personal preference to grade it or not .. My opinion , if you want to keep it and not worried about the cost of slabbing go for it .. But if your going to re-sell it or anything , more thinking would be involved .. I'm still learning to accurately grade Morgans myself, and those two are the spots where I tend to have the most trouble. Report this Post to the Staff
