jdbarrick Valued Member United States 350 Posts	Posted 07/10/2012 4:47 pm I have no trouble buying copious amounts of dollar coins from my local bank. I often get 20+ nearly unc presidential coins at a time. Worth saving? There are of course SBA and sac's but I do not know if there is much sense in really hanging on to any of them except for one nice example of each date and mm I come across... I am picking these up for the Project $100K. Circulating dollar coins thread. Let me know your thoughts! Report this Post to the Staff

The SBA I would look for the 1979-p near date or wide rimmed,SAC you could look for the 2000 p wounded eagle and other varieties. Also on the Pres. coincollector123 Pillar of the Community United States 850 Posts	Posted 07/13/2012 5:54 pm yeah 1979P near date 2000P Wounded eagle (Just found one the other day) 2000P Detailed tail feathers (If you are looking for wounded eagle might as well shift the coin over a few cm and look at the tail) 2007-2008 (No lettering on edge of presidential and lettering on edge of Sacagawea dollars) There are many errors for presidential coins double edge lettering absent edge lettering die cracks I would say do it.
