I have a roll of Buffalo nickels, all with dates-some restored. If you are the 1st one to solve this 'brain teaser', I will send them to you. Ready:

In 1919, former President Theodore Roosevelt walked into a coin store. He takes out a new silver medal and shows it to the dealer. On the obverse, it has the date 1918 and a big "V". The reverse says "Victory World War I". The dealer immediately tells Roosevelt, "it's a fake"...........Why is it a fake?

He died on Jan 6, 1919 after being ill for a couple months. I doubt he walked into a cooin store even if there was one in the town where he lived

Though doubtful, it would still be possible for him to walk into the coin store.
If this riddle goes unsolved, I will add a clue tomorrow night

Because it was bronze. The obv had a winged lady representing victory. The rev had "The Great War for Civilization" and the dates 1914-1919. Hope this is what you are looking for!
