Hey Everybody,

I need a little help with this one. I know this is a doubled die and I am pretty certain that this is FS-10-1939-101. But I am not 100% sure. Can you guys look over these pictures and confirm that this is indeed FS-101?

Thanks!

Take a look at the above link. Dr Wiles needs better pictures for DDO-1, yours maybe it, or it maybe closer to DDO-2.

Edit: Check out the other markers to confirm with what you think maybe, if not, you will have to send it in. It could be an earlier die stage of DDO-2. Otherwise; I would contact Dr. Wiles.

Thanks Macmercury. I had seen that already and my markers don't match up to either but it could be a different die state like you say. I was hoping someone had an example in hand. Do you happen to have a DDO-001?

No problem. Thanks anyway! One of these days I hope to find the '45 inverted S / Horizontal S or the '45 D over Horizontal D.

Found 1945 D over horizontal D few years ago, actually I had it longer, but didn't know about it. NGC graded AU-53. I had it posted and no one can confirm it here. Pic!

I won a S over Horizontal S on the Bay also a few years back graded by ANACS. Cleaned AU-50. You can do a search here for that one.

The one pictured above is the one I question before and now in AU-53 slab from NGC variety attribution service.

Oh, okay. Super nice find! I always dream of picking a 1942/41 D. I feel like they can be easily missed by the untrained eye vs the obvious 1942/41 P.

I found that one also, graded F-12 or 15 by NGC. Sold it! Sigh!
