This caught my eye - edges look sharp. Might be a gouge but I'd think a more irregular shape?

I would call that a die dent. Looks like the die came into contact with another die while handing and received a dent.

Are die dents worth keeping. I just found a dime with a decent one. Was gonna post pics soon to find out what it is but guess I won't bother. Noticed on mine there is a small dot behind the head. Hmm maybe I should put a pic up.

Probably not worth much, but the stronger the die dent, the more interest there maybe for it. I save the strong ones in a tube for informational storage in case I need an image later on.
