Actually, I was quite sure about the first and third one, but coin #2 'in-hand' looks more like something in-between a near rim and a far rim. Better for me the consensus is a far rim. nickelsguy Pillar of the Community Canada 2301 Posts	Posted 02/28/2015 12:09 pm A small variance in die alignment does make the rims look different because they slightly are. The gap will remain constant but the rim is actually smaller on that show side. I have multiple MS examples of near and far with differing rim thicknesses which can cause that appearance.
