kuh_85 Pillar of the Community Canada 2366 Posts	Posted 03/23/2015 5:01 pm The RCM wasn't able to produce enough for the first year of issue so they sub-contracted the German mint to produce about 10 million of them. The differences can be difficult to discern on circulated coins so high grade ones that are identified as German trade for a premium.
