Mabecornwall New Member United Kingdom 5 Posts	Posted 04/13/2016 2:00 pm Hi everyone I have another odd coin which I found. Had this a while but no idea what it is. There are letters on the front but very corroded but I was hoping someone would recognize the pattern on the reverse. I can see on the front a certain letter M for the start of third line. 2nd line is something like __LLV_ maybe. Diameter is 29mm and about 1.5mm thick. Weight is 8 grams and I think bronze. DL20K Pillar of the Community Poland 3201 Posts	Posted 04/13/2016 2:14 pm When you look at it long enough, the reverse (first image) seems to read: "1 / SKILLING / DANSKE" and then perhaps "1771" at the bottom. Yours is corroded, should explain the weight loss. Only two dates were issued: 1771 and 1779. 1771 had a mintage of almost 60 million, 1779 noted as rare. Report this Post to the Staff
