24 Coins In One Hole!

I often find patches of cents all centered over a few inches but I don't think I have ever had that many usually its between 5 and 10. I find these concentrations around jungle gyms.

Many years ago I was heavy into metal detecting (i still have one, but I just can't seem to find the time to get out and really use it) and I was searching an area outside of Boston that was constantly searched. It was a very large park, mostly wooded, with many miles of old dirt roads and paths. I found a path that was heavily overgrown, but was obviously a path. About 100 yards down the path I got a very strong signal. By the time I was done, I had a 1918 and 1919 Walking Liberty half, a 1914 Barber quarter, a 1918 Standing quarter, a dateless Barber dime, and two nickels that were too damaged by all of the time spent in the ground to be identified. One of the best finds I ever made, and even though it was over 20 years ago, I'll never forget it!

Morgans, Morgans did somebody say Morgans? Hey NGiles congratulations on the cache. The most I ever found in one spot, coin spill scattered over a two foot dia. circle was 39 mems. Around here so many places are so hunted out I wanted to roll in it like an old hound dog in a dead animal.
