zookeeperz Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 695 Posts	Posted 08/24/2017 1:41 pm Hello folks. Could you explain what happen to this 1946 S wheatie . The 46 in the date are very weakly struck . His nose looks like he has done a few rounds with a boxer. Also is this an inverted S or a normal one? Thanks again in advance Report this Post to the Staff

marcomsf New Member United States 23 Posts	Posted 08/24/2017 6:08 pm You have what in my opinion is a Ball serif S mintmark LWC in which the "46" was notoriously weak for the issue.
