These coins were given out during the 2015 to 2016 Shawville Generation Station coal-to-gas conversion project.
Only a couple hundred of these NRG Energy coins/tokens were made.

That's pretty darn cool! Thank you for sharing! I didn't know that these even existed. Having a low mintage is pretty interesting as well.
