1961 Jefferson Nickel Help Verifying Doubling

Redneck coins New Member United States 27 Posts	Posted 09/03/2018 08:38 am I ran across this 1961 Jefferson nickel that I think has doubling on the obverse & reverse. It has the short die gouge just upper left of the star that's listed in Wexlers list. Report this Post to the Staff

The reverse is really neat the way even the base of the building appears doubled. Yet all from just worn out dies not a true Doubled Die. Still nice find. Report this Post to the Staff

Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 09/03/2018 1:10 pm Redneck, hi to a fellow Columbian. Who's Mizzou? Yes, the MD can go multiple directions. I use the example of a hammer hitting a nail. The hammer will bounce upon the head numerous times, never landing in the same spot or even angle.
