I found this coin on a flea market in Amsterdam. As someone who is very new to numismatics, I would very much like to hear your opinion.

The only readable text above the portrait said: AVG. GER...
This lead me to believe that this was a coin struck in the name of an emperor (as he used 'AVGVSTVS') who used 'Germanicus' as part of his title.
I only know of Julio-Claudian emperors using this victory title, but perhaps this is just a combination of limited knowledge and wishful thinking...

Probably my bad eyes but maybe Trajan?

He used IMP CAES NER TRAIANO OPTIMO AVG GER DAC.......etc

Just the apparent length of the legend indicates Trajan !
Together with the outline of the portrait it is without doubt the great generalissimo Trajan

Looks like Trajan and I believe I can see [TRAI]ANO AVG GER, the full legend being something like IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC PM TRP COS V P P. Compare it with this Trajan sestertius from the internet:

My guess is Hadrian.. some of his coins have a similar legend to Trajan's..
Like IMP CAESAR TRAIAN HADRIAN OPT AVG GER DAC for instance...

Thank you so much for all of your opinions, I looked up Trajan's sestertius and it looks exactly the same. I would also like to know if it is possible to see whether or not a coin is genuine, and if so, what one should look for when not buying from reliable dealers.
