CoinHunter27 Pillar of the Community United States 5887 Posts	Posted 11/20/2018 1:59 pm I just looked at it in the PCGS CoinFacts app. If you go on the 1945 DDR Nickel in the app, and swipe left on the pictures, you will find a picture showing the doubling. Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4408 Posts	Posted 11/20/2018 5:59 pm It's a Class II/VI, so the doubling is on the outer letters. It has extra thickness perpendicular to the rim (towards the rim or towards the center). Notice how much thicker the bottom of the letters are on FS-803 (left).
