Actually, it could be a small Struck Through area above the date, but under the date, it's just a stain. No added value.

Or a split plating issue making the plating rise on that area. No premium for any of these suggestions.

Thank You for your replies. I tried cleaning that area with acetone and a q-tip and it didnt go away, I know I shouldn't do that but I wanted to make sure it wasn't dirt or something. I cant see it with the naked eye to try and pop it. I figured running a q-tip against that area hard would change its shape or make it go away.

I read the posts a little more thoroughly and The area I am referring to is in the middle of the 5 the almost thick looking S
