You can see this on several denominations and a very large number of cents dies are affected by this issue. When this happens on several dies, we know it is not a RPM, but mintmark punch damage. So no premium. There are RPM cents though that year but not on the lower serif: Report this Post to the Staff

I compared it to the photos of RPMs on Coppercoins, but could not match it exactly. Question: is it possible that CC has it wrong on their listing? They have split lower serif Ds as RPMs. Report this Post to the Staff
