mrwhatisit Pillar of the Community United States 2975 Posts	Posted 02/28/2021 6:03 pm Found this in a random coin grab bag from an auction a few months ago, and wondering how common or rare Picher tokens are? This is now one of my favorite "good-for" tokens in my collection due to its famous location. When I researched the company (Hibbs Lumber co.), it was founded in 1917, so I'm guessing this token was probably made about that time or a little later. Hopefully these images behave. Im wondering if anybody else has ever seen this particular type before. One other token website only listed 5 other Picher tokes, all different from mine. I'm not seeing anything from Hibb's Lumber on tokencatalog website, although there is a series from Mauser Grocers in Picher OK. westernsky Pillar of the Community United States 7652 Posts	Posted 02/28/2021 7:40 pm I don't see it in the 2007 Oklahoma Exonumia Catalog by Chadwick, so I'd guess it is "scarce/rare" or was previously "unknown".
