1994 P Jefferson Nickel Error? - Coin Community Forum

Brandonhoskins80 New Member United States 11 Posts	Posted 08/20/2021 11:02 am I found this 19994 P Nickel and was wondering if it was damaged at Mint or from normal wear? The small raised wave of metal at the edge of the area in question is an indication that this is Post Mint Damage and not an error. When the metal is clipped or struck through, you will not see this type of raised metal. It will be a flat, smooth transition from the missing area to the fields.
