@rd, it sounds like you are seeing something other than circulation wear with the coin in hand. Can you please be more specific about what you are seeing and provide a closeup pic of this area? Thx.

Not sure by what you mean by "a lot going on", all I see
in a worn cent with some dings. Please tell us what YOU see.
