The missing plastic chunk is concerning. This is a Thousand dollar coin and there are so many fake slab coins out there. Go to the NGC website and enter the registration number and see if the coin matches up with the coin in the slab. Good Luck Report this Post to the Staff

This common gold coin should sell in the $550-600 range in this grade. You should be able to find slabbed examples in MS-63 for very little more money. Report this Post to the Staff

Although this is true most of the time I've freed many coins from NGC slabs and have on multiply times I swear with a little super glue you'd never know it.
