The overall Market opened slightly higher but now is selling off into the close. Ruh Roh George, maybe more bad news coming?

Anyone here pay $100k to get the inside track? Silver was in the ~$57 zone for a bit going into lunchtime.

I'm doing "wait and see". No need to rush into buying gold or silver.

Indeed. Unless you are trying to game the rise and fall, best to just wait it out.
I just wish it was not this year though. Those US Mint annual sets for the semiquincentennial were hefty buys.

Looks like the overnight crew got silver up to the ~$58 range. Here's hoping it's the beginning of a trend and not just a momentary blip.

I got $59.33 on my screen as of this writing, looking at futures. It's a weird morning. Headlines were negative. But the market overall got a nice bump overnight. I'm seeing that they're selling into the pop. Gotta wait and see if today's pop was a buying opportunity or a selling opportunity.

Quote: It's a weird morning Indeed. War ramping up (again) and oil prices rising, both of which should be sending the markets and PMs into a tailspin. Instead, though, everything is up so far today. According to a market alert at APMEX, "Silver Rises as Bulls Take Control." What triggered it? How long will it last? Who knows? Not me, that's for sure. I've given up making predictions or trying to explain anything.

Quote:According to a market alert at APMEX, "Silver Rises as Bulls Take Control." What triggered it? How long will it last? Who knows? We did see some good support at the ~$56 Zone last Thursday and Friday. That was a sign that the selling finally ran out of steam. If the Bull's really have taken control then what we'd need to see (in the coming days) is a push Up to re-test the $65 zone again. See if the Bull's can reclaim it. As I mentioned in a prior post this was something that needed to be done before going lower. Something to watch for. Quote: $55.80ish (AKA the ~$56 zone) showed some support the last couple of days so it is a price level to watch for next week. If the selling subsides, and it holds, it could be the next base on which to build on.

Looks like might see some of that ~$60 zone, if only for a moment.

Only a half hour left in regular trading and I'm still seeing a big Ole solid Green candle on my screen for today. $59 has held up for nearly the entire day. As of right now Silver is up just over $2 or around +3.5% for the day. Relatively speaking that's an impressive move considering the relentless selling and the slow bleeding we've seen over the past few weeks. It's more than the Bull's could have asked for, everything considered, so I would accept it and be happy. Gold is also still above $4k
