Pretty sure that is not the valuable (and extremely rare) DDO cent. The actual DDO has very strong doubling on IGWT and LIBERTY. Your cent looks like an ordinary 1958.

Just seeing a normal looking Wheat cent with hits and circulation flattening. It's not a Doubled Die. The big DDO one is extremely rare. The chances of finding one is pretty much zero. http://varietyvista.com/01a%20LC%20...8PDDO001.htm

You must be used to seeing the super professional blown up image of it.
If the same photograph was taken of this one it would be the same.

It's undisputably. Evidence is in the photos.

Nope, still not a DDO. Posting more pictures isn't going to change anything. Did you even click on the link I posted? It's not a DDO. You can disagree as much as you want. It won't change the fact that your coin isn't a DDO. I've been collecting varieties and errors for almost 10 years. I start collecting on and off as a kid. Then I stopped collecting coins for quite a few years. Then I got back into collecting coins again in October of 2016. Although, I am still learning new things about numismatics everyday. I'm far from an expert though.

If you want to truly learn about varieties and errors, read up on them here.

Okay. It's still a normal, common, circulated Wheat cent. It's my last comment, as I am not going to waste any more time arguing with you about it not being a DDO. I'm sorry, but it's not a DDO.

Again with all the facts I just showed you. You still cannot believe or resist . Facts are in the photos.
I've had these for over 50 years. I said I was new to this recreational site, but definitely not to this industry
20 years as a highly trained inspector in metals technician and mechanics for the US government is my experience.
I also have provided a photo I put together on the only visual definition of Machine Doubling. This is the standard. Please stop deviating from it with your own wrong opinion.
It is the Major. If you even know what that means in the business.
Like I said I need no further opinion from you. Respectfully and thank you.
Both coins are 1958 DDO Pennie's.

Or the famous 1988 Lincoln double ear.

I think I know what I'm doing.

Like Jaobler and Errers, I see a normal circulated 1958 LWC. Sorry, but your coin is NOT a DDO - and absolutely certainly NOT 1958 DDO-001.
