daltonista Pillar of the Community United States 1065 Posts	Posted Today 2H 6M ago My apologies to both Dearborn and GLB49 for confusing your comments, which sorta detracted from the intended wordplay, I thought. I'll attempt to make up for that now by posting yet another standing lady, this time an allegorical representation of Hope, as symbolized by the anchor. The token is an 1811 halfpenny pattern from Norfolk in Norwich, Britain, issued by the highly regarded goldsmiths Dunham and Yallop. As an aside, I'm not aware of any other appearance on 19th-century British coins or tokens of the motto, "Relief in Distress." Have any of you Conder collectors seen that one before?
