Back From CCCS Tripled And Quadrupled.

Before posting a reply, I would like to see the
reverse with a closeup of the doubling.

The most impressive is the denticles on half the coin are rotated/pivoted like vertical stepped beads in 1234 marking the pivot point at the 7 o'clock position. But beware I have seen mdd on other coins that mimic the same, that are not.

The book has the 5/5 doubled die listed true and is only for a 2 hubbed coin. The problem is that the 5/5 doubled die was used on the concentric lathe lines variety in witch he dose not write lathe lines on it as requested only 5/5. I also sent some 1965 small beads die clash (Tusks) 5/5 with the designation 5/5 die clash under neck of beaver. I asked for tripled die and got the term doubling instead. (a broad term). I also asked for Quadrupled die with the 5/5 doubled die added as a multi variation but still got the doubling with the 5/5 instead. (a broad term), this means to me it is just a 2 hubbed coin in reality the coins do not exsist yet so the book really dose not add any thing to the coins other than it proves these 5/5 doubled master dies were re used or re worked for further coin production. There are 3 markers on the production of tripled and quadrupled. They are the K, the back foot hits and the denticles showing class 5 pivoted/rotated hubbing. I'm happy with the coins being real but still not attributed correctly. I would think because of no written littiture on the varieties he is limited what he can put on the slab. I always thought a coin had to have 2 sided cameo to get the designation or is that in the USA only?
