1806 Small 6 Stemless Half Cent Grade And Opinion

macmercury Pillar of the Community United States 5848 Posts	Posted Yesterday 6:50 pm I'd like to get a grade and opinion on this Half Cent in my 7070 Dansco album, in hand the surface doesn't appear pitted but after enlarging the pictures, details magnify up 10x to show all the imperfection. The coin likely been cleaned ages ago and toned to dark brown, looking to swap it out of the album on a later date if I can find one to replace with. Along with some other ones in it as well. VF35 details ( PMD) I'm not seeing corrosion, I think all the marks are PMD. i think this series is so underrated especially since the survival rate is fairly low. PCGS shows an estimated 600 known examples in all grades with an R5.8 rarity for this one. I agree its a decent example and would fit nicely into a 7070 until you upgrade it.
