I found what I think is a pristine 1953 proof dime in a CWR today.
I will have it examined at a LCS later this week. If it is a proof coin, I would love to find the quarter and half dollar from the same proof set!

Pictures aren't good enough to tell for sure. I hope it's a proof, but I just can't tell with current photos.

No - Obverse has a MAD strike (Misaligned) - looks plated.

It looks like the Reverse has a slight MAD strike too - can you have both sided MAD strikes?
