Beads To Denticles With Excessive Pressure?

I read an article some time ago regarding beading, stating that they had learned that too much pressure while striking would attach the beads to the rim. My question then is when a bead becomes attached this way, does it become a denticle or attached beading or should I stop reading obscure articles? Report this Post to the Staff

JimmyD Bedrock of the Community Canada 21742 Posts	Posted Today 1H 11M ago What year is that dime, up until 1993 the dimes had denticles on the reverse before switching to beads on both sides. Yours look more like denticles as opposed to attached beads. The beads on the later dimes are far enough away from the rim that their is no way that they could become attached no matter how much pressure was applied. This is what happens when there is more than 1 poster on the thread at the same time. As far as your Nova Scotia token goes, it looks the rim on the left side has been damaged pushing it into the beads. In any case, they are still beads. Report this Post to the Staff
