The most confusing topic in Lincolns. Most of the TPGs call the true, no D, die pairs 2, 3 and 4 as weak Ds. I disagree, it was a cop out because they are too difficult to conclusively say. They are not actually not even mint errors, just weak and filled dies.
The true "weak D" - where it's barely visible and does NOT have the die markers of the 1-4 types - has no solid die markers IMO. It's purely a subjective determination. That said, this coin is too strong of a D. The ones I've seen there's almost nothing, you have to use bright light and tilting to make out the D. Still a nice example!
