Numismedia Listing Common Barber Half Dollars As $34 In G4?

Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6800 Posts	Posted Yesterday 4:42 pm I was just about to list a worn 1909 barber half on ebay. Melt is about $24. I was going to start the auction at $20. But when I checked Numismedia, the list price for the most common Barber half dollars in G4 condition is $34. Can that possibly be right? I don't buy or sell early 20th century coins that often, so if I'm missing something, please enlighten me. Report this Post to the Staff

Since silver is still rather volatile, maybe the market (or NumisMedia's read of the market) sees people holding on longer and hoping for another run.
