Hello,
Barber quarters is my baby but kinda lost my focus when they got so difficult to find in the grade and price I could agree on. So, after I retired from my second career (HS Teacher), I decided to enjoy the better part of life. HOBBIES!!!
I joined two local coin clubs and the Barber Coin Collectors Society, picked up my guitar again, started traveling the world, and having fun.
My latest focuses have been an Unc Franklin set and a Washington 25c one 95% done, although nothing difficult finding compared to the Barber hunt!! I also tried an Unc red Lincoln set but that fizzled when the expense skyrocketed!!!
So, now I'm into Merc's and Walkers mostly 65's when I can and when I can't I try highest grade (tougher date) I can afford and still like the coin.
I also started accumulating silver mostly Constitutional and bullion and then when I sold my house, GOLD!!!!
