1998 Proof 20 Cent Australian 4th Head With Platypus, But It Is .999

Arkie Pillar of the Community United States 2643 Posts	Posted Yesterday 8:56 pm Was picking through the foreign silver at the LCS, as I often do, and I found a proof 1998 20 cent piece. I told the owner it was not silver, as it appeared as a normal 20 cent piece --4th head obverse, platypus reverse, no reference to coin value on obverse. He said, I thought as much as well, but on the XRF it shows .999 AG. Which he demonstrated to me. Could this be a wrong planchet error? I can't find my scale, so I haven't been able to weigh it.
