It looks like a Jewish prutah struck 1-2 BC in Judaea by Alexander Jannaeus. One side has an anchor, the other side a star. The star side is struck off center. Sometimes there is greek/aramaic words around the star and anchor. But small planchets were used and often you won't see any writing or it's worn off. These were crudely made. There's a lot of them on ebay but it's a coin that is often faked. People need to be careful who they buy from.

This coin is commonly called the "widow's mite" because it is considered the coin type used by the poor widow to give to God in the Bible Luke 12:41-44.

Your's looks genuine to me. Somtimes the star has rays, sometimes pellets. Here is one of mine:
