1845 Half Dime Variety Identification

I am not the someone you are looking for as I do not know a thing about Half Dimes but did a side by side comparison with a pic you provided a link for.

I do not think it is the RPD you are referring to but I could be wrong, to me it just looks like extreme circulation flattening and damage. The repunching is quite strong on the other numbers of the variety and would think we could see more evidence of it if it were the RPD.

Maybe someone who is familiar with this series will chime in with the side by side comparison.

I'm in between V-4 and V-5, the only two varieties with low 84's. The only difference I can see is V-4 has the entire date shifted leftwards, and V-5 has the entire date shifted rightwards (easiest to see when you can compare the position relative to the pendant... which I can't do anymore). I tried doing an overlay using PCGS's images, but try as I might, I can't even get the figure's outline and stars to align, forget the date position.
