Found this amongst my dad's collection. Was wondering everyone's thoughts on a grade. Thanks in advance.

Your coin comes from a matching late middle die state die pair with a bit of a soft strike and moderate die polishing. There is discoloration in the key contact areas, but that may not be evidence of circulation. When I enlarge the photos, they pixellate and I can't get a definite feel whether there is light circulation wear or just flatness from the die state and strike. What looks like white spots on the hair above the knot could be reflections from lighting or could be the very early start of some surface issues.

This coin may be 1936 DDR-002, WDDR-002.

Pictures are a bit dark hiding the luster - I'm just going with a MS65

The white you are seeing are from the strobes I use in my photography. Thanks for a very informative response!

Is why I went with AU instead of uncirculated.

Fair point.

Either way, this example is much nicer looking than any Buffalo nickel in my set.
