Another 8 reales that looked to pretty to pass.

Mexico-8-Reales-1897

Mexico-8-Reales-1897

This is the last year for the 8 reales. I do not know if it is one of the official coins or an imitation for trade with China. Perhaps someone here can say. Weight is 27.01 g.
I think it circulated but not for very long. The fields show traces of it having been lightly cleaned in the past.

The edge is well done but I only see one area of overlap. Expected to see two at 180º. But that was in colonial coins. Do not know how it was in these ones.

Should I annotate it as 'cleaned' or not?

Thanks.

Still hoping someone can confirm if it is a Mexico Mint genuine, or can be a counterfeit.
