PCGS - Surviving over two centuries in PCGS AU58+BN, this early copper cent was struck over an already minted 1794 large cent, complete with Sheldon-71 die clash marks. It's not often you see errors on early U.S. coins, but when you do, they take your breath away.
PCGS lists the price of a regular 1795 cent in AU-58+ as $10,250. I see this spectacular error sold for $91K on Heritage. Huge premium for the error, and obviously worth it to the buyer!
